Bird Cottage

Bird Cottage dates back to the 1600's. It oozes charm! Located just 2 minutes walk from the village pub, church and shop and 10 minutes walk to the vast pebbled beach.

It has a wonderful quaint feel but its contemporary furnishings compliment it perfectly to enhance every ounce of its considerable atmosphere.

Both double bedrooms have Freeview TVs, Sky TV is provided in the lounge. There is a comfortable sofabed in the lounge that could sleep one or two children.

The bathroom upstairs is bright and fresh and offers a bath with shower over and a toilet. There is an additional toilet downstairs.

The lounge is spacious and sunny. It has everything you need to entertain you when you return home from the many activities in the area. On the colder days and evenings you can treat yourself to the additional warmth of the cosy woodburner, especially wonderful after a bracing walk along the many coastal paths in the area!

The kitchen overlooks the courtyard garden and patio. It is fully equipped and has a washing machine.

The breakfast room, next to the kitchen, provides a convivial environment for chatter whilst consuming the fruits of your Norfolk harvest, gathered during your exploration of the North Norfolk Coast.

Seated in the lovely cottage garden at the front of the cottage you can watch the world go by and listen to the church clock strike away the hours.

The courtyard garden has rural views over a meadow and is partially shaded by a most enormous pine tree, welcome cool whilst enjoying a sunny day or evening in the garden.

Well behaved and quietly spoken dogs are very welcome...in fact they will be begging you not to leave them at home!

There are steps down into Bird Cottage and it also has a steep windy cottage staircase. These facts make it unsuitable for anyone who has difficulty walking or climbing stairs.

The cottage has lovely old beams and fairly low ceilings, particularly in one of the bedrooms. Please ask for advice if you are lucky enough to be over 6ft 2in tall!
